Scouts WA COVID Action Group has reviewed current COVID-19 mandates and advise that face to face scouting in WA can continue as can camping and sleepover type actives, however it is important that the current public health orders are followed.
Full details of current restrictions can be found at www.wa.gov.au.
Bayswater Sea Scout hall or attends the meeting nights, including parents who enter the foyer area when dropping off their children, must either scan in using the SafeWA app or complete the contact register.
Scouts WA requires all youth members to be recorded as having attended no matter their age. Group Leaders should take appropriate steps to ensure this is completed.
For all activities, we:
undertake hand sanitation / cleaning on arrival.
remind parents and youth that no one should attend when sick.
maintain 1.5m physical distance, including in lining up, activities, opening / closing parades.
clean high touch areas and a regular basis.
Any changes to restrictions will be reviewed by the Scouts WA COVID-19 Action Group and updates provided as indicated.
