Basic Packing Lists
Overnight events will include packing kit if specific kit is required.
Kids are encouraged to pack their own bags.
Below are some basic packing lists.
Sailing Gear

Scouts getting involved in sailing will likely need the following gear, at a minimum:
sneakers / water shoes
a wide brimmed hat with a strap / lanyard
long shorts or leggings
sunglasses
a water bottle
Scouts intending to sail over the winter months should also obtain a good quality spray jacket, and bring a towel and dry change of clothes in a dry bag / similar.
Everything should be clearly labelled with your Scout's name.
Kit Bags
Kit Bags
For Joeys, bring one collapsible bag without wheels and zips for all items, as they have their bag above their pillows.
Older scouts may wish to have their items linked together.
A medium sized kit bag will last a Scout for their scouting career, and are basically unbreakable.
