Bayswater Sea Scouts is an active member of the Scouts Association, one of the World's biggest youth-based organisations. As a Scout Group, we aim to offer a range of adventure- and skill-based programs to develop young people's confidence, independence and community spirit.
As a Sea Scout Group, our activities are focused on and around the water; principally, sailing, rowing, and canoeing. Like all Scout Groups, we also do all the usual Scouting activities like camping, hiking, pioneering, and generally having fun
The Group operates Joeys, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers sections, and participates in a District Rover Crew. All sections meet weekly, and run events, such as camps and sailing, on weekends.
As Bayswater Sea Scouts is a community-run organisation, we encourage parents to get actively involved in a range of ways. This includes helping with fundraising activities, helping maintain facilities and equipment, volunteering for the Committee, or training to become an Adventurous Activities Leader or Section Leader.
